Hi! My name is Rachel Cylie Gross and I’m an editor, writer, and director currently based out of Los Angeles, California.

In 2018, I graduated with a BFA from the University of Central Florida. Currently, I work as an editor at digital agency, Watson Design Group.

Previously, I worked as an Assistant Editor at prominent trailer house, AV Squad. While there, I became familiar with all aspects of the broadcast, theatrical, and social world; assisted with finishing, cut my own spots, and mastered the art of preps (lots and lots of preps). In my free time, I continue to work on projects with long term friends and collaborators on short films, documentaries, and even the occasional political campaign.

Along with my forays into the world of post production, I also have a love and passion for writing and directing. My first feature screenplay, Armadillo, reached the Semifinals in the ScreenCraft Horror Contest, and finished in the top 10% of Academy Nicholls. I’m currently in the process of writing features 2 and 3 and plan on directing 2 short films this year as well. My overall goal is to create unique, genre features like It Follows & Halloween.
